RESEARCH AND AI CASE TABS / SAVED RESEARCH MENU

Case folders now have separate Research and AI tabs:
- Research opens the case's Public Background Research page.
- AI opens AI Draft Assistance. Its Location & Directions and Research History
page tabs remain available as before.
The public page's top-right AI Draft Assistance, Maps and Research History
links now appear as buttons. Its case folder bar highlights Research.

The left-menu Research & AI register shows saved case research results only:
- Public Background Research requires at least one saved finding or summary.
- Merely running a public search does not put its candidates in this register.
- Completed AI-assistance drafts/results already saved to a case are included.
- Empty cases, rejected results, running and uncertain requests are excluded.
Rows show case number/subject, research purpose/date, saved result count, status
and Open Saved Results. Existing case permissions and search scope apply.
New searches are started from a case's Research tab.

Previously saved public-research flags are indexed from the encrypted results
on first use of this register. Case data and research payloads are preserved.
No schema migration is required. Saved flags update with each reviewed/saved
public result; Not Relevant items do not count as saved findings.

GIB patch: take a backup, extract into the existing application root and overwrite
the included files while preserving app and assets directories. Both full
installers and the cumulative GIB patch include these changes and the age column.

Validation: PHP parsing, public save/review and marker/backfill tests, eight actual
SQL role/search/count combinations, ten real role/active-tab navigation checks,
and 40 phone/tablet/desktop public-page UI checks passed. Tests used local fixtures;
the live site was not updated or exercised by this patch build.
